The forge is open!
After 15 months of recovery and a complete rebuild of the shop LLForge is up and running, I hosted my first "Learn to Forge" experince guests on Sunday, 10/22/23. It felt great to be back in the forge. The new set up worked flawlessly. There is some drywall finishing, painting and trim work left that I should be able to get done in the next month or so. We all made wall hooks from 3/8" square stock. Charlie and his son Colt hammered out two nice hooks that they'll remem

New Forge is starting to take shape. Very exciting, seems like it's taking forever.
Off to a great start, lots left to do. Am hoping to be back in the shop and resume forge experienes by late summer to early fall.

It's starting to get real! Poured cement today. Off to a great start.
The forms are set. A little back-fill and some sweeping and the prep work is done. Cement trucks are on the way. This is a fifteen yard monolithic pour. I've been waiting impatiently for this one! Here comes the Mud!!!! Poured with a beautiful clean finish. Anchor bolts are set and ready to start framing.
