Mosaic Damascus, not looking too bad!
I've always wanted to make mosaic damascus. After a few "not as successful" tries I finally came up with this billet. This billet was made by Nathan at my experiential learning experience, "From Blade to Billet". I persuaded Nathan to attempt a mosaic pattern. Mostly smooth sailing with a few uncertanties and hicups along the way, but all in all I think we ended up with a solid billet. Nathan is going to make a Kabar styled blade. Bob and his son Joshua make knives at LLForge "Create a Knife" experience
Bob and Joshua proudly displaying thier just made knives. Joshua chose Coyote Camo Micarta scales and his father Bob used Merino Ram's Horn for his scales. Both used my Wicked Edge sharpener to put on awesome edges on both of thier knives.

In a moment of epiphany Cassandras idea to alter a wall hook evolved into a stunning dagger.
The idea to use an old rasp that had been laying around the shop popped into my head in a flash of creative genius. Cassandra cut off a large section of the rasp and began to forge the remainder into the shape of a dagger. She was able to shape the file but maintain the original Patent lettering seen on the base of the blade along with some of the cutting teeth that give it a unique character. Cassandra also made a Kydex sheath to protect the blade.......and everything a
