Greg & Cherie choose ambitious projects for their first forge experience at LLForge
Greg chose to make a tactical knife from 5160 steel with rough forged finish and maple burl scales. Cherie chose to make a bowl, (approximately 24" in diameter), and stand from 18 guage steel. We heated and hammered all day until we were all exhausted. What awesome people to work with! They made it a truly rewarding day for all of us. Although completely spent, I felt as if a breath of new life had been breathed into me. They plan to return to the forge to complete the
